A good diet might improve your Asthma

Eating more fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts might help improve Asthma.

In fact, a high fibre diet may help improve other inflammatory conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD) and Colitis as well as lowering your risk of heart disease and certain cancers.

Recent studies in Australia and Switzerland have indicated that a diet higher in saturated facts and processed foods and low dietary fibre, encourage inflammation to occur in the body.  This is related to suppression of the immune system.

Humans and mice who ate a high fibre diet with less processed foods demonstrated an increase in their gut health which had a flow on effect of increased immunity and suppression of inflammation in the body.

So try eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts and enjoy better health.
