Registered Nurses

Opportunity:

Home Support Services (HSS) is growing. We are expanding our national  team of Casual Registered Nurse . With the flexibility to plan your own rounds, you will work autonomously with the constant support of an expert clinical team.Opportunities Available in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane

More about the role

  • Hands on clinical support to clients in their own home.
  • Holistic care including comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Delivery of a range of clinical service including complex wound care, IV Antibiotic Therapy and palliative care

Skills and Experience 

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Recent acute nursing experience
  • Wound Care Management
  • Continence nursing experience desirable
  • PICC Care/Dressing/Removal
  • Current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Current Drivers’ Licence

Occupational Therapists

As HSS is growing we are expanding our team of Occupational Therapists and have a full time position available. As an Occupational Therapist at HSS you will use your clinical skills to Coordinate all aspects of patient care from assessment and care planning to ongoing service delivery

  • 2 years experience as a  Occupational Therapist and current AHPRA Registration
  • Occupational Therapy Australia membership (desirable)

Personal Carers

Opportunity:
HSS are expanding our team of Casual Personal Carers here in Adelaide to provide client centered care for patients in their own homes.

Personal Carer duties involve; 

  • Provide care and support to patients
  • Meal Preparation
  • Shopping
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Personal care and respite
  • Light domestic duties

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Individual support or equivalent, with either Cert 4 in Mental Health or Mental health First Aid (Desirable)
  • Experience as a Personal Carer
  • Current driver’s licence and willing to travel
  • Computer skills
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Current DCSI (or be willing to obtain one)

Palliative Care Registered Nurse Case Coordinator

The Opportunity

Due to exciting growth and development opportunities at Home support Service (HSS) we are expanding our team in Melbourne and are seeking a highly skilled and qualified palliative care registered nurse. As a highly trained RN you will be overseeing the delivery and development of the palliative care program and will report directly to the Clinical Service Manager

More about the role

This diverse and challenging role involves:

  • Coordinating all aspects of patient care from assessment and care planning
  • Training and educating current HSS staff on Palliative care
  • Providing direct Patient care and Monitor patient progression and modify the multidisciplinary, client centred care plan
  • Liaising with hospitals, doctors and family members to provide safe palliative care to patients in their own
  • Managing the logistics of Palliative home care services, including medication and stock requirements
  • providing various report and figure to the Senior Leadership  team weekly and Monthly as required

Qualifications , Experience and Skills
