At home care

At home care

We understand that people want more choice over where and when they receive care.

Where clinically appropriate, we offer people the flexibility of receiving health care and support services in alternative settings to hospitals.*

What is home care?

Home care provides people with the option to receive care and support services in the comfort of their own homes where clinically appropriate.

Our home health care businesses, Amplar Home Health and Amplar Allied Health provide services like nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and virtual dietetics in homes across Australia offering choice and convenience.

Our services delivered by Amplar Home Health are accredited against the NSQHS accreditation standards.^

As a mobile allied health provider, we deliver services to residents in some 200 residential aged care facilities.

We deliver services as part of Home Care Packages under My Aged Care that enable senior Australians to access affordable care services in their home.

Amplar Home Health

Formerly Home Support Services, Amplar Home Health deliver services including:

Hospital substitution

Where clinically appropriate, we offer Hospital in the Home (alternatives to some hospital in-patient care) and Rehabilitation in the Home.

Community care

Services delivered in the community include nursing, allied health, personal care, meals and domestic services, transport and accommodation services.

Aged care services

General nursing, personal care, medication management, wound care and other practical support which may help individuals remain independent at home.

Amplar Allied Health

Formerly HealthStrong, Amplar Allied Health is a leading provider of allied health services, delivering in-home physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and virtual dietetic services.

We know that some people may not be able to leave their home easily and others might like the convenience of staying put so we have a network of friendly mobile allied health practitioners who can, where clinically appropriate, provide care in homes and aged care settings.
